Dok Liland joins AFP’s Oplan Bayanihan for 2011
Dok Liland was happy to take part in the Philippine Army’s Oplan Bayanihan in Brgy. Buenavista, Guihulngan last March 6, 2011.
Dok Liland was not just there as a politician, but she was there to deliver genuine service that is truly Dok Liland. She did not just mingle with the people (like a politician), but she helped treat those who are sick and in need.
As a medical doctor, she participated by seeing hundreds of patients, all for free.
All throughout her career as a medical doctor, Dok Liland has been so much willing to give her free services to the indigent, a very rare quality in a person, and mind you, in a politician. But then again, Dok Liland is not a politician, but a public servant first and foremost.
Dok Liland is deeply grateful to NOHS Alumni Batch ’94 and ’95 and the Philippine Army for giving her the opportunity to serve her constituents in a more intimate level.
